Colorado Campus Compact

This training, hosted at Front Range Community College on February 16, was a great success! Twenty faculty and staff from four community colleges and three universities representing five states participated in the full-day training. Duane Oakes, the workshop facilitator, led individuals through the role of service learning in promoting civic responsibility and improving student learning outcomes, strategies for developing and sustaining campus and community partnerships, and an analysis of effective course construction including community-based learning experiences.  CCC continues to work with community college partners to deepen and expand trainings and events specific to faculty and staff on those campuses.  Learn more about CCC's benefits and impacts>
