As Program Director of the UCAN Serve and Compact Service Corps AmeriCorps programs, Jami is responsible for managing the largest higher education AmeriCorps programs in the nation, enabling more than 6,000 students per year to participate in national and community service through 80 colleges and universities. Jami has worked in the nonprofit/public service sector for fifteen years, from environmental education to U.S. congressional and presidential politics. Previously, she worked for AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, Western Region, in the Projects and Training Department. Jami graduated from San Diego State University with a B.A. in Education and a minor in Environmental Studies. She holds a master’s degree in Nonprofit Management from Regis University.
